Students are required to develop a research project presentation on an evidenced based practice that is utilized with substance users. This presentation includes a 10 – 20 minute audio narration of your topic with power point slides and notes at the bottom of your power point slides. This presentation should include a thesis/hypothesis, an argumentative position, information that supports your rationale for utilizing this evidenced based practice and a conclusion. A minimal of Five (5) empirical peer reviewed references must be included exclusive of the course textbook. All presentations must be submitted by the first day of week 8. This research project presentation requires that you include a minimum of 15 power point slides exclusive of the title page and references. APA format is required typed, 12 pt. Times Roman, with 1” margins and doubled spaced. Citations/quotes in the body of the power point slides should follow APA format. A title page is required that includes the title of your evidenced based presentation, your name, the name of this course, the instructors name and date of submission. A grading rubric for this paper can be found in the assignment folder in Canvas. This paper will be awarded up to a maximum of 100 points.
