You are a ward council member in a large city that is considering adopting a focused deterrence strategy. The mayor asks you to research the Kansas City experience with focused deterrence. You will prepare a briefing memo for the mayor based on your research comparing the potential benefits and drawbacks of focused deterrence, including specific examples.
The memo should be 2 pages, 12-point Times New Roman font, and double-spaced. The memo should address all requested information in well-developed paragraphs. Within the assignment, reference key concepts in the course, as well as course readings and outside references. Cite sources in APA style (Links to an external site.).
