One of the best ways to learn about the criminal justice system and how it functions is to experience it first-hand. As part of the course, you will be asked to experience one aspect of the criminal justice system (virtual prison tour) and complete a guided reflection which details your thoughts on the experience and what you learned. This aspect of the course will be done outside of class. Using your guided reflection, we will discuss the tour in class and how it relates to the material explored in this course. More information will be provided during the first week of class on how to participate.
