Using historical to present-day resources, the student is expected to answer the question stated above and provide the documentation of evidence to support his or her answer. A minimum of 10 history, sociology, & other social sciences texts, and journal articles are expected to be used. National and local news articles and televised resources addressing the social justice in America can be used to supplement the “academic” source materials. You will note that social justice is closely, if not intimately, tied to many of the substantive areas in the discipline of sociology.
